REAL FOOD FRIDAYS: BANANA MOLASSES OATMEAL

Bananas, molasses and oatmeal are all super nutritious REAL foods that are amazing individually. When mixed together, you have a winning combo. Bananas are bursting with potassium, molasses is packed with calcium and iron and oatmeal boasts B Vitamins, iron and fiber making it a super food that rivals the awesomeness of Thor. If you are looking for a simple dish that will give your little superheros the power jolt they need to save the day, try this recipe.
BANANA MOLASSES OATMEAL
  • 32 oz. old fashion (raw) oatmeal
  • 32 oz. water
  • 32 oz. banana
  • 4 oz. blackstrap molasses
Prepare oatmeal as directed, using alloted water. Stir in bananas (sliced or mashed). Drizzle with molasses. Enjoy. Serves 4, double as needed.
