Today for Home Ec./Nutrition class we will be making kale chips. A delicious and simple replacement for the evil potato chip. Kale is rather inexpensive, we purchased a bunch this week at Fareway for $0.99.
1 bunch of kale
Preheat oven to 350F. With knife or kitchen shears remove kale leaves from stems. Wash and dry (if you are like us and do not own a salad spinner use a clean kitchen towel and pat dry). Line cookie sheet with parchment paper and place kale leaves, single layer on the cookie sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Bake 10-15. Cool slightly and enjoy!
